Our Mission Statement
“ Our vision is to build up a church of overcomers, where every member is a minister and every house an extension of the church, thereby conquering our generation to Christ through lifegroups that multiply.”
What is a "Church of overcomers?"
Please read Revelation chapters 2 and 3. We want to be a church that keeps the first love. Here we do not endure clericalism. We honor our leaders, but we do not lean on them for our relationship with God.
Our message challenges all to a genuine commitment with God and His message. The overcomer is ready to go through misunderstandings, afflictions and even persecution for the sake of the Kingdom.
What do we mean by “every member is a minister”?
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9
“If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31
“[…] Jesus said, “Go into the world. Go everywhere and announce the Message of God’s good news to one and all. Whoever believes and is baptized is saved; whoever refuses to believe is damned. These are some of the signs that will accompany believers: They will throw out demons in my name, they will speak in new tongues […] they will lay hands on the sick and make them well.” Mark 16:15-18 (MSG)
For us, every house is an extension of the church.
Our church happens from house to house. Imagine you find yourself stranded on a deserted island with nothing but a copy of the Bible. You have no experience with Christianity whatsoever, and all you know about the Church will come from your reading of the Bible. How would you imagine a church would function? Try to picture “Church” as you would know it.
The real church experience happens not only in the big building, but mainly in houses. We emphasize this considering the power of that if there is one single believer in that family, the entire house can be saved.
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 10:44; Acts 16:31)
We want to conquer our generation and the next through lifegroups that multiply.
Our model is the early church. The Bible says that “they committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers.[…] And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common. They sold whatever they owned and pooled their resources so that each person’s need was met. They followed a daily discipline of worship in the Temple followed by meals at home, every meal a celebration, exuberant and joyful, as they praised God. People in general liked what they saw. Every day their number grew as God added those who were saved.” Acts 2:42-47 (MSG)
“And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women” Acts 5:14
