THE JOURNEY

VSM’s aim is to give students an intense immersion in a God-centered, Christ-exalting, Bible-saturated environment with church and life applications. We emphasize hands-on training and experience along with academic understanding. This creates a “teach and do” culture where students take risks to stretch their faith and grow in their understanding of God.

The program is designed to be a 1-year program that begins the first week of February and the first week of August. We focus on three main areas: leadership training, the formation of the character of Christ, and an intimate relationship with the Father and His Word.

Leadership Training

Leadership Training

Students will be equipped and challenged to take leadership roles within the church structure, lead lifegroups, and make disciples. They’ll receive close mentorship in and outside classrooms.

Character of Christ

Character of Christ

Student’s character will be constantly tested and evaluated by their response in and outside classrooms and in relation to all other VSM activities. Through intimacy, with Jesus, we expect to see students being transformed into His likeness.

Intamacy W/ God

Intamacy W/ God

We invite students to dive into a deep, intimate relationship with Jesus and His Word. Students get to do this through their devotional times of prayer and meditation on the Word. They will learn how to hear and be lead by the Spirit of God.

IS VSM FOR ME?

VSM is not for the faint of heart or lazy. It is an extremely fast-paced season of schooling, and you must be ready and willing to invest much time and energy to keep up. Besides normal school hours and teaching, students have daily assignments, weekly outreaches, and LifeGroup meetings.

VSM is also not for those who are looking for a place to rehab and it’s not a discipleship school for people who are coming out of a sinful lifestyle. There is no space in our school for those struggling with self-control.

STUDENT LIFE

CLASS SIZE

CLASS SIZE

The class is comprised of a cohort of 4-8 students who share their academic, church, and social lives, together. Students in the cohort study in close relationship with pastors who are as engaged in their spiritual growth as they are with their academic performance
